Gina

Gina Seghi is an LA native who has had a long career in hospitality. This kind of started by accident while attending SFSU, a friend talked her into taking a job at the front desk at the Seal Rock Inn in SF. This tiny little motel on the water allowed Gina to discover her talent for helping people and doing everything on her own, from answering the phones to plunging the toilets. After college she went to work for the Kimpton Group where she quickly become the Assistant General Manager at the Harbor Court Hotel. While she truly thought her path would continue in hotel management she found herself for the first time managing the restaurant right next door, Ozumo. This is where she TRULY shined. The energy and the people and the wonderful food had her hooked. This new path in restaurant management led her to NYC working for Marc Murphy, then home to LA working for Tony Esnault at Church n State, and finally back to the Bay Area where she worked for Melissa Perello to help open Octavia in April of 2015. While she absolutely loved working for Melissa and her partner at the time (now husband) Robert, she found she could no longer cross that godforsaken bridge every day to and from work. This shift in energy brought her together with Charlie and she quickly became the GM of Pizzaiolo. Gina lives near by the Oakland Rose Garden (you didn't even know we had one did ya?) where she can be found running around the pond with her 7 year old son Sebastian and her wildly talented photographer husband Jimmy.
